Experienced Operator Course – Counterbalance and Reach Trucks
Course Introduction
This course is designed for existing operators who have not undergone any formal training to understand the engineering principles and safe operational practices of lift trucks. The existing operators must have sufficient experience to manoeuvre the lift truck in a confined area and be able to handle loads to the maximum stacking height within their working environment.
Please note that proof of experience or training must be provided.
Course Aims
We enable participants to acquire the skills and knowledge required to operate lift trucks safely and efficiently and to take both theoretical and practical tests. The practical test will either be the JIC recommended test, the NPORS test, or an appropriate test devised to incorporate the operation use of the lift truck within the trainee’s working environment. The practical test will be decided upon prior to the commencement of the course, depending on a site survey or information provided by the company requesting training.
