Forklift Refresher/Recertification Course
Course Introduction
This course is designed for certificated operators who may have a change in their working conditions or have not operated lift trucks for some time. Participants will refresh their understanding of the engineering principles and safe operational practices of lift trucks. Qualified operators must be certificated on the type of lift truck that they are attending a refresher course on. Proof of the operator’s experience must be provided. The course covers all truck types, including Counterbalance, Reach, Telehandler, Electric Pallet, etc.
Course Aims
Our trainers aim to ensure participants still have the skills and knowledge required to operate lift trucks safely and efficiently and to take both theoretical and practical tests. The practical test will be either the JIC recommended test, the NPORS test, or an appropriate test devised to incorporate the operational use of the lift truck within the trainee’s working environment. The practical test will be decided upon prior to the commencement of the course, depending on a site survey or information provided by the company requesting training.
